I became a therapist to be a professional “feelings friend” – a person whom others can approach with anything and everything in their times of need. No matter the situation, I strive to offer a warm, authentic, and supportive environment to help my clients identify, pursue, and achieve lasting change in their lives. I work with individuals, couples, and families, using systemic theories to meet their goals. I believe in finding balance and setting boundaries so that you can work toward being your most fulfilling and true self. In my office, you’ll get an advocate, a cheerleader, a teammate, a challenger, and a coach as you work toward your goals. Whether your progress happens through humor, tears, or both, I am honored to bear witness to your stories and to be a part of your healing.
I am a member of LGBTQIA* community and enjoy working with individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and intersections. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
What is EMDR?
It is a mental health treatment that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the resolution of mental health symptoms from adverse life experiences. Insights result from the client's own brain and body processing rather than the therapist's interpretation. EMDR is appropriate for clients of all ages.
