MacKenzie strives to draw from all aspects of a person’s life and personality to aid in assisting to resolve identified problems. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approaches. MacKenzie is devoted to making sure therapy is as productive as possible first focusing on connection and collaboration. She believes that therapist are like shoes, they do not fit every person. You need to make sure you find your right fit. MacKenzie knows that the most genuine progress in therapy happens when clients are in an environment that allows them to feel like they can be authentically themselves. MacKenzie's passion and draw to therapy can be summed up by the following quote:
