Are you struggling with heavy feelings, difficulties regulating your emotions, or just worrying a lot? Do you find yourself unable to feel or find happiness in your life? As a temporary licensed mental health counselor my goal is to meet you where you are and help guide you to a healthier life, or at least give you some relief. I work collaboratively with my clients and am attentive to their individuality and the uniqueness they each bring to the therapy process. Therapy is your journey. I’m honored to cheer you on and challenge you, with the goal of finding you peace as well as an increased connection with yourself.

 

I work with adolescents and adults with various issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, identity exploration, and other growing pains we experience in life. I take into account not only the individual symptoms, culture and circumstances of each client, but also the societal and environmental factors likely contributing to one’s distress or struggles. I strive to create a safe space for all persons, and work to be culturally competent. I enjoy incorporating various activities into traditional talk therapy to best meet my client’s needs, including movement, drawing, and music. I work to stay open-minded, understanding that there are many pathways which can lead you to the life you envision for yourself.

 

I offer appointments Monday-Friday. As a part of Sampson Family Therapy Services, a group practice, I get to work with colleagues who want to see you succeed and achieve your goals.
