My approach to healing is rooted in trauma-informed perspectives where we jointly explore how difficult past experiences continue to influence you today.

With over a decade of experience as a yoga and meditation teacher, I have had the privilege to work with a wide variety of bodies, minds, and personality. Together, we will investigate the connection of our physical bodies with our psychology and spiritual mind. Congruence, integrity, and relationships are fundamental tenets of health.

I enjoy using my background in yoga to incorporate mindfulness and meditation techniques with clients who are well-served by these approaches. Theoretically, I have been influenced by relational-cultural theory, attachment theory, feminist theory, and emotionally-focused therapy.

Shelby is trained in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT) with certifications in Trauma Informed Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. She is also a Certified Meditation Teacher.
